Learn how you can influence change in your city so that all children and families have equitable access to nature. Cities Connecting Children to Nature (CCCN), a partnership with C&NN and the National League of Cities, is now in its 4th year with 18 cities participating. This session will explore the valuable work being done to address racial equity in the areas of policy change, infrastructure improvements, and community-driven programs. Leaders from the CCCN project will share successful strategies and lessons learned in planning and implementing citywide plans. Participants will work in small groups to identify tangible actions to advance equitable access in their cities.
