This session provides a review of current research as well as Indigenous and traditional wisdom. The purpose is to bring to life the key attributes that lead people of all ages to take responsible actions to care for nature, enhancing their own health and well-being in the process. These attributes were identified in a major synthesis of evidence developed by the Children & Nature Network as part of the worldwide campaign, #NatureForAll. The results will be shared with recommendations for how to implement the findings locally to internationally. Many of these recommendations are currently informing the work of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity and other policy-making bodies. Find out why this is so important, and how your own work supports the efforts.
